Teaching Assistant

Join a Leading Secondary School in the Borough of Bexley as a Teaching Assistant Starting September 2024 until the End of the Academic Year July 2025!

This position offers an ongoing basis with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent contract. It's a fantastic opportunity for those keen to pursue a career in education and gain valuable classroom experience.

About the Role: As a successful teaching assistant, you will:

· Support students with special educational needs (SEN) within the classroom.

· Provide one-to-one support and assist small groups of vulnerable students.

· Communicate clearly, serve as a dedicated role model, and build rapport with students.

· Assist teachers, monitor student progress, and provide feedback.

About the School:

· Large mixed secondary school catering to ages 12-18.

· Outstanding behaviour and a supportive environment.

· Easily accessible via public transport.

· Part of an established team with an experienced SENco and weekly meetings.

Role Details:

· Pay: £85-£90 per day.

· Hours: 8.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, full-time until the end of the academic year.

Requirements:

· Hold a high-level degree.

· Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.

· CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible.

· Legal right to work in the UK.
